Ballers Club Nets $20M to Build Luxury Pickleball and Padel Lounges

A new player is entering the court-side social scene—big time. Ballers, a high-concept racket-sports social club, just secured $20 million in Series A funding from a stacked lineup of pro athletes and industry investors, including Andre Agassi, Sloane Stephens, and sports magnate David Blitzer. With plans to open over 50 locations nationwide, the concept blends premium pickleball, padel, and other court sports with upscale dining, craft cocktails, and nightlife vibes—all under one luxurious roof. First up: a flagship in Philadelphia’s historic Turbine Hall, followed quickly by Boston, L.A., and Miami.

At its core, Ballers is reimagining the post-match experience. Instead of sprinting from court to the nearest pub, members can go from dinking to dining without ever leaving the building. Each location will feature tournament-grade pickleball and padel courts, chef-driven food and beverage offerings, lounge areas, and spaces for live DJs and events. Membership will range from $99 to $499 per month depending on access level—because yes, there are “luxury locker rooms” and members-only recovery zones. It’s a premium model banking on the continued rise of racket sports as not just recreation, but culture.

With a vision backed by $30 million in total capital and research showing nearly half of all racket players cross-train in multiple sports, Ballers isn’t just building courts—it’s building community. While the phrase “country club for the next generation” is tossed around loosely these days, this project may actually live up to the hype. One part wellness, one part nightlife, and one part competition, Ballers feels like the natural next step for anyone who loves the game—and wants a cocktail with their cross-court winner.
